Pakistan Issues Order to Freeze Assets, Impose Travel Ban on 'Global Terrorist' Masood Azhar
Pakistan has issued an official request to solidify the advantages and force a movement prohibition on Jaish-e-Mohammed boss Masood Azhar after the United Nations announced him a "worldwide fear based oppressor".
In a warning issued Wednesday, the remote service stated, "the Federal Government is satisfied to arrange that the Resolution 2368 (2017) be completely actualized" against Azhar.
The legislature guided authorities to take activities "as fitting for the usage of authorizations" against the JeM head, as per the notice.
Azhar is likewise restricted from selling or obtaining arms and ammo.
In a noteworthy political success for India, the United Nations assigned Pakistan-based Azhar as a "worldwide psychological militant" after China lifted its hang on a proposition by the US, the UK and France to boycott him.
The US, the UK and France had moved the proposition to assign Azhar as a "worldwide fear based oppressor" in the UN Security Council's 1267 Al Qaeda Sanctions Committee in February, only days after the lethal Pulwama dread assault completed by the JeM in Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan remote office representative Mohammad Faisal on Wednesday said that Pakistan would "promptly uphold the assents" forced on Azhar.
