Accused New Zealand gunman to face 50 murder charges: Police
The Australian man blamed for killing 50 Muslim admirers in weapon assaults on two mosques in Christchurch will confront 50 murder allegations and 39 endeavored homicide accusations, New Zealand police said on Thursday.
"Different charges are still under thought," police said in an announcement.
Australian Brenton Tarrant, 28, a speculated racial oppressor, was recently accused of just a single homicide following the assault and has been remanded without a request.
He is expected back in court on Friday. The March 15 assault was the most noticeably bad mass shooting by a solitary shooter in New Zealand.
