5 killed as 10 houses burnt in lightning in Pakistan

A major flame inundated 10 houses in Gilgit-Baltistan area in Pakistan, leaving five individuals dead and two others harmed on Thursday, nearby media detailed. 

The houses burst into flames after the lightning strikes occurred in the town Choutron of the Shigar area in Gilgit-Baltistan, the Xinhua news organization announced. 

Three ladies and two youngsters were among the expired people, the report said. The harmed were moved to the region emergency clinic where their condition was accounted for basic. 

 

After the flame broke out, neighborhood occupants hurried to the site and began salvage task as there were no salvage and firefighting groups in the territory.
