FFCC emerged victors in Ramadan Cricket Championship

FFCC beat Al Mabani Cricket Club by 41 runs to lift the Ramadan Cricket Championship Trophy here recently. The Ramadan Cricket Tournament was organized by Country Club Riyadh in association with Saudi Cricket Centre  (SCC) and G.K. International Indian Sports Club

FFCC won the toss and elected to bat.

FFCC batting first scored 148/2 in 10 overs. Salman Khan (not out) 77 off 26 balls (10X6, 1X4), Malik Khurram 7 off 12 balls (0x6, 1X4), Yousaf Ali 44 off 18 balls (6X6, 0x4), Abdul Rahman (not out) 7 off 5 (1×6, 0x4). Mehtab Ahmed 1-38 and Afzal Hussain 1-26.

Al Mabani tallied 107/1 in 10 overs. Nazmir Ahmad 11 off 14 balls (1X6, 0X4), Metab Ahmad (not out) 33 off 24 balls (4X6, 1X4), Mohammed Muneer (not out) 44 off 25 balls (5X6, 1X4). Abdul Waheed 1-18.

Man of the Match — Salman Khan

The closing ceremony was graced by many renowned personalities of Riyadh. The Chief Guest of the event was Abdulaziz Sulaiman Alothman, Board Member Country Cricket Club. Guests of Honor – Mohammed Mubin, President OUAAR, Dr. Sayeed Mohiuddin, Managing Director Smart Media. They all praised this well-organized tournament and congratulated the Winners. They were of the opinion that participating in the Tournament itself is a great victory in itself. They encouraged the youths to actively participate in sports and keep themselves fit and healthy. The organizers Mohammed Kaleem, GK International Sports and Rafiullah, Country Cricket Club thanked the lively spectators, participating teams and the sponsors including Shaikh Mohammed Aziz of Al Kabeer.
