Valid health insurance mandatory for extension of family visit visa

The Directorate General of Passports (Jawazat) declared on Wednesday that the required medical coverage is fundamental while applying for expansion of family visit visa electronically by means of the Absher entry of the Ministry of Interior. 

All the specialized necessities have been finished for connecting the expansion of the family visit visa to expanding the legitimacy of medical coverage approach for guests. 

The courses of action for this have been made in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance and the National Information Center, the Saudi Press Agency detailed citing the directorate sources. 

The Jawazat affirmed that guests in the Kingdom would not have the capacity to broaden visit visa without having legitimate medical coverage records and that they should restore their medical coverage before its expiry date. 

The directorate expressed that a few segments of guests, including the individuals who went ahead Haj and Umrah and strategic visas, just as guests to discretionary missions other than authority visitors of the Kingdom, have been exempted from the state of having the obligatory medical coverage arrangement. 

The Jawazat brought up that at the season of expansion of family visit visa, the rest of the period for the expiry of visit visa ought to be seven days or less, and not to surpass the visa expiry of over three days. 

The absolute time of visa visit after the augmentations is greatest 180 days from the date of passage into the Kingdom.
