Saudi’s High-Speed Train Open To Public On Thursday
Saudi Arabia's Haramain speed prepare will set out on its maiden commercial public trip between Mecca and Medina on next Thursday.
The prepare will operating on a five stops' path.
The high-speed train which is viewed as the biggest project in the region, give transportation benefits between five nmajor regions: Mecca, Jeddah, King Abdulaziz International Airport, King Abdullah Economic City and Medina.
The project has reportedly been built at an expense of more than $16 billion.
The high-speed train will operate eight trips on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until the end of 2018 then the number of trips will be increased.
The train, described as the biggest transportation project in the region, will transport pilgrims and regular travellers, 450 kilometres between the two cities in two hours.
