Saudi student suffocates to death after being forgotten on school bus
An 8-year-old child suffocated to death in a school transport after the driver forgot to check if the vehicle was empty in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
The Saudi national, Abdul Aziz canister Mustafa Al Muslim, had been sleeping when his friends disembarked.
The temperature, which surpassed 40 degrees Celsius, joined with high dampness and brought about the child suffocating to death.
He was a second-grade student at Ibn Khaldoon primary school in Saihat in the Sharqiya region.
An official spokesperson from the education zone in Sharqiya, Saeed Al Bahes, said: "The student died because the bus driver forgot him in the bus while he was asleep, and didn't realise the child hadn't disembarked till it was too late."
A video to help students who might get locked up in buses was also shared
