Saudi Meteorology warns of inclement weather
The General Directorate of Civil Defense urged citizens and expatriates all over the Kingdom to take utmost precaution in view of the warning issued by the General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection about the continued inclement weather, heavy rain and flashfloods that are expected to hit most parts of the Kingdom.
It likewise warned picnickers and desert travelers to avoid valleys and reefs amid substantial rain or flashfloods, and not to risk crossing flood passages.
Heavy to moderate rain hit numerous districts of the Kingdom on Wednesday.
The departments of education in Al-Qassim and Hafar Al-Batin announced suspension of classes for boys and girls for all schools in the regions on Thursday in view of the bad weather.
Al - Qassim University and Hafar Al-Batin University likewise suspended classes on Thursday.
