Saudi man goes missing on vacation with his family in Turkey

A young Saudi man disappeared under mysterious circumstances last week while waiting to catch a flight from Turkey to Saudi Arabia, Al Bayan newspaper reported. 

Now identified as Salem bin Nafe'e Al Harbi, the man had been in Turkey with his family when he decided he wanted to cut the trip short and head back home. 

Both Saudi and Turkish authorities are still searching for Al Harbi

Salem was last seen in a CCTV footage showing him being led to the airport's metro by two security men.

According to Salem's younger brother, Ahmad bin Nafe'e Al Harbi, he was dealing with 'psychological problems' and decided to cut the trip short. However, as return tickets for the entire family were not available, only Salem's mother and brother decided to travel back with him.

Authorities are gathering more footage to figure out the last known whereabouts of Salem as news of him going missing in Turkey created a stir online. Some internet users speculated that the young Saudi man might have been kidnapped.
