Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense continues rescue efforts as more heavy rain to come

Saudi Arabia's Civil Defense groups in Qassim reacted on Friday to various occurrences caused by substantial rains in the region, repotred Arab News. 

Over 40  individuals were securely safeguarded from theirflooded homes in the city of Buraidah, and moved to impermanent settlement, said Col. Ibrahim Aba Al-Khail, representative for the Civil Defense.

 

15 other households were also evacuated in Unaizah. Al-Khail said the rainfall caused electric strikes that ended a few vehicles and five individuals were safeguarded, every one of whom are healthy.
