Saudi Arabia rises from 29th to 26th best country in the world for expatriates
Saudi Arabia has risen from 29th to 26th best country in the world for expats, according HSBC Expat Explorer for 2018.
The kingdom ranked 29th for family, 25th for experience and 18th for economy, which covers areas of personal finance, disposable income, economic confidence, entrepreneurship culture, career progression and work life balance.
In the GCC, Bahrain topped the ranking as the 5th best expat destination while the UAE ranked 10th overall, dropping three places from seventh in 2017.
The top 10 countries for expats to live in, based on the Expat Explorer Survey 2018:

3. Germany
4. Canada
5. Bahrain
6. Australia
7. Sweden
8. Switzerland
9. Taiwan
10. United Arab Emirates
As per the HSBC survey, Saudi Arabia ranked second, fourth in terms of salary growth, and ninth in terms of job security globally.
