Riyadh to host 39th GCC Summit Sunday

Leaders of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to hold Supreme Council 39th session in Riyadh next Sunday, 9 December 2018, under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

This was expressed by GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.

 

Dr. Al-Zayani offered his pride and thanks to be endowed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for passing on the welcome to the GCC leaders to take part in the 39th Session of the GCC Supreme Council, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The GCC Secretary General called attention to that the session will likewise survey most recent territorial and international political advancements and security circumstances in the region.

He said his expectation that the summit will result in helpful and productive outcomes that extend GCC cooperation and combination in different fields and understand the goals of its citizens for more noteworthy solidarity, attachment and support to confront all difficulties and keep up the security and steadiness of the GCC nations and the district.
