Program launched to train Saudi students for foreign universities

The Initiatives Center at the Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Foundation (Misk) has begun registration for the “University Preparation Program.”
This aims to boost the skills of high school students and increase their chances of being accepted by top international universities in the US and the UK.
The scheme works on providing trainees with support tools and training programs during their high-school year as well as help with personal skills instrumental for the start of university studies. The aim is to build capability and boost their chances of joining internationally renowned universities such as Stanford, Princeton, John Hopkins, Columbia, and Pennsylvania.

The initiative, supervised by the Human Resources Development Department at Misk, covers a period of two and half years and consists of training schemes, including summer programs, during which trainees undergo an extensive program that enhances university learning skills, and helps to determine their field of specialization and future career.

Registration is open until Nov. 24. Results for those accepted on to the program in February 2021 will be declared on https://misk.org.sa/hcd/ar/services/collegeprep-ar/
