New Kaaba cover ready
The new Kiswa (the black cloth covering the Holy Kaaba) for the year 1439 Hijri is prepared, as indicated by the Committee for Inspecting the Holy Kaaba Cloth.
As is standard, the old Kiswa will be supplanted with the better and brighter one on Dhul Hijjah 9 morning under the immediate supervision of the President for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques Sheik Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais.
A couple of days prior the Kiswa was collapsed up starting from the earliest stage three meters. The collapsed bit of the Kiswa was secured on each of the four sides with a white material roughly two meters wide.
Executive General of the King Abdul Aziz Complex for the Kaaba Kiswa Ahmad Al-Mansouri said the measure was intended to keep the Kiswa clean and shield it from harm the same number of pioneers endeavor to contact it or even slice bits of the material to take with them as keepsakes.
