More than 500,000 quit labor market in 3 months
Over 554,357 Saudi and expats employees have stopped the labor market amid the final quarter of 2018, reported Saudi Gazette.
According General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), there were 9,367,593 employees in the labor market during the most recent three months of 2017 yet their number came down to 8,813,236 in the last quarter of the present year.
Riyadh with 3.2 million employees was the biggest business in the Saudi arabia pursued by Makkah which had 1.5 million and the Eastern Province with 1.3 million.
Saudis who are very the activity and are GOSI subscribers are 1.9 million while the expatriates are 7.4 million. Saudi and expatriate male subscribers are 8.5 million while the female subscribers are 810,216, GOSI said.
GOSI said there were 7,776 workplace injuries amid the most recent three months which brought about 16 deaths in the private sector.
It said 2,221 experienced injuries after falling down from a height.
Different reasons for wounds included auto collisions and excessive exhaustion.
