Saudi Meteorologists predict, heavy thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds will be a feature for the week ahead in most central, northern and eastern parts of the country.

 

Moderate to heavy rain is expected to fall in the capital, Riyadh, and the surrounding areas, as well as in the nearby provinces of Qassim and Hail. 

There is a comparative picture in the east of the nation, where bigger urban communities, for example, Dammam, Khober, and Al-Ahsa, will see the likelihood of moderate to overwhelming precipitation.

Madinah is expected to witness downpours from Tuesday to Thursday.

Al-Baha and Al-Asir, two southern regions, will see moderate rainfall, expecting to grow in intensity on Wednesday.

Authorities in the west-coast city of Jeddah have said they are continuing to deal with over 200 locations effected by rainwater, after stormy weather this week.
