‘Masajid’ app for smart phones launched
Pastor of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheik Abdullateef Al-Asheikh declared the dispatch of the "Masajid" smart phone app for iphone and Android systems.
In a tweet he said that the “Masajid” app provides diverse services via smart phones. It can be downloaded via the links: Android: goo.gl/3CLGky and iphone: goo.gl/b9F3BP, according saudigazette.
The application can be utilized to search for close-by mosques and communicate with the Imam and Muezzin.
In the mean time, Minister of Haj and Umrah Dr. Muhammad Saleh Benten said serving travelers is a national obligation.
He was addressing to a workshop on Monday to improve services provided to Haj and Umrah pilgrims and visitors.
The workshop reviewed the standard of services provided to the “Guests of Allah”, seeking to raise the standard of all services, implementing the initiatives by service providers, preparing a monthly report on progress of work and shedding light on the initiatives via various media.
