Makkah governor helps to wash Kaaba

On behalf of King Salman, Prince Khalid bin Faisal, the governor of Makkah Region, helped to wash the Kaaba on Thursday.

The prince was welcomed to the Grand Mosque by Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, president of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque, and other officials. The Governor washed the inside of the Kaaba and its walls using pieces of cloth soaked in Zamzam water mixed with rose oil.

Intensive precautionary measures were in place during the washing ceremony to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
