Makkah all set for its first flower festival

A floor covering of blossoms including 1 million sprouts will be one of the primary attractions as Makkah has its first bloom celebration. 

The occasion, which starts on Tuesday at Muzdalifah, has been sorted out by the city's district in participation with the Arab Urban Development Institute and King Saud University. It will be authoritatively opened by Makkah Gov. Sovereign Khalid Al-Faisal. 

Raed Samarqandi, the executive of the district's division of media and productions, said that the celebration is one of a kind and has genuine destinations. 

 

"It expects to improve nature, battle contamination and demonstrate a picture that suits the estimation of the city and its heavenly locales," he clarified. "The celebration will agree with the twentieth symposium on afforestation, titled "Reasonable afforestation for the natural states of Makkah — the focal area and heavenly destinations," on March 19 and 20. 

The symposium will highlight delegates of administrative divisions and logical bodies and incorporate exchange of papers tending to numerous the issues in the city, for example, the condition of afforestation in Makkah, the most recent procedures in natural arranging, and the plan of green spaces, for example, stops, gardens and squares.
