King Salman inaugurates Saudi agriculture program

King Salman inaugurated the Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program Yesterday in Riyadh. 

This program aims to boost production, processing and marketing of fruit, livestock, Arabic coffee, fish and cultivation of rain-fed crops.

Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, thanked the king for patronizing the launch of the program. 

Also he said this program would also help small producers across the Kingdom.

 

 

Vision 2030 aims to expand the economy by developing the financial segment to accomplish economical advancement. It further accentuates saving common assets including the legitimization of water utilization in agribusiness and accomplishing sustenance security to build the offer of the horticulture division in the total national output, which will help in the main agenda, economic diversification.

The king Salman expressed his happiness over the overall progress of the nation. He expressed gratitude toward God for blessing the Kingdom with assets and honoring it with the presence of the Two Holy Mosques.

The minister presented the king with a memorial gift.
