Jeddah tests over 100,000 laborers for COVID-19
More than 108,000 laborers in Jeddah have been tested for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) the city’s Labor Housing Committee has announced.
Alongside the testing, inspections have been carried out in a total of 591 buildings in which the laborers are living to verify compliance with precautionary measures, the committee said.
Meanwhile, Al-Jouf municipality has fined more than 200 delivery workers and issued 600 warnings for safety violations including not wearing gloves and/or masks, having no sanitizers in vehicles, a lack of cleanliness, and a lack of medical certificates for workers.
