Jawazat Is Asking Expatriates In The Kingdom To Register Their Fingerprints ASAP

The Directorate General of Passports (Jawazat) has made an announcement asking all expatriates, who have yet to register their biometrics, to visit the Jawazat offices as soon as possible and get their fingerprints registered in its electronic system, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Monday.

Those who plan to do so also need to bring their dependents (children, niece, etc), who are the ages six and above, along with them.

Procedures and transactions can't be processed without the registered fingerprint

The Directorate stressed that if there are no fingerprints registered, they won't be able to carry out any procedures or transactions in the Jawazat computer system.

Several locations in all regions and governorates of Saudi Arabia have been specified as go-to places where expats can register their fingerprints.

The locations have the necessary equipment, machinery and staff.

If you wish to register your fingerprints anytime soon, check out the Jawazat website for more information or you can email them at gdp.gov.sa992 for more queries.
