In Implementation of Directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Extending the Period of Using Exit and Re-Entry Visas Free of Charge for Expatriates Inside the Kingdom

Based on the continuing efforts of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to deal with the effects and repercussions of the global pandemic COVID-19 to take precautionary measures that guarantee the safety of citizens and expatriates, to confront financial and economic impacts, and to implement the royal directives; the General Directorate of Passports has started to extend the period of validity of the use of exit and re-entry visas that expire from 25/02/2020 until 24/05/2020 for an additional period of three months free of charge. The extension includes expatriates of commercial and industrial professions inside the Kingdom whose visas were not used during the period of suspension of entry and exit through the Kingdom's ports.


The General Directorate of Passports stated that the extension is done automatically from the system without attending to passports headquarters in cooperation with the National Information Center and the Ministry of Finance, and the beneficiary can enter through his account on Absher platform to view the service provided to him electronically.
