Haramain train transports 116,000 passengers during Ramadan

The Haramain High Speed Train transported 116,000 travelers between Makkah, Madinah, King Abdullah Economic City of Rabigh and Jeddah during the blessed month of Ramadan. 

There has been an immense increment in the quantity of travelers, incorporating Saudis and exiles notwithstanding countless Umrah pioneers from outside the Kingdom, as indicated by Haramain Train Project sources. 

The train has accomplished a reliability rate of 94 percent in their entry and flight timings. 

Addressing Okaz/Saudi Gazette, a Haramain Train Project authority declared the dispatch of new twofold train administration for the period of June to satisfy the expanding need. 

 

The administration will begin from Wednesday. Two trains will be worked in the meantime on five days – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Makkah to Madinah through Jeddah and Rabigh. 

The train timings will be at 8 a.m., 12 p.m., 3.15 p.m., 6.15 p.m., and 8 p.m. for takeoff from Makkah also from Madinah.
