Expats seek iqama renewal for dependents above 25

Many expats have asked the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) to enable them to renew the (iqamas) residence permits of their kids over the age of 25 until the finishing of their higher.

Be that as it may, Lt. Col. Badr Al-Quraini, representative of the Jawazat, said that there are strict rules that the iqamas of expatriate laborers' dependents who cross the age 25 won't be renewed, reported Saudi Gazette.

Under the Jawazat rules, iqamas of young ladies between 18 and 25 might be renewed on the submission of certificates showing that they are as yet unmarried. For boys, iqamas in the above age gathering might be renewed on the submission of certificates  showing that they are seeking after higher studies.

Numerous expats asked the authorities to renew iqamas of their youngsters who are over 25 years old and are seeking after university studies, particularly in  medicine and engineering.
