Expat remittances drop by 17.6 percent

Expatriates remittances fell by 17.6 percent, reaching SR9.9 billion in November as against SR12.02 billion in November a year ago, reported by Saudi Gazette.

Remittances by Saudis additionally dropped by 39.5 percent, reaching SR4.8 billion a month ago contrasted with SR7.9 billion amid a similar period in 2017. 

 

The value of Point of Sale (POS) exchanges in the Kingdom added up to SR209.98 amid the initial 11 months of this current year contrasted with SR180.25 billion in a similar time of 2017. 

This figure marks the most abnormal amount of POS activities in its history in under a year, the report called attention to.
