COVID-19: Saudi Arabia reports 3,941 new cases

Saudi Arabia on Saturday reported 3,941 new coronavirus cases, falling below the 4,000 cases after six straight days of reporting record numbers above the 4,000-mark, the Ministry of Health announced.

The latest figures bring the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 154,233.

The ministry also announced 46 deaths, the second-highest single-day toll, taking the total number of virus-related fatalities in the country to 1,230.

Meanwhile, the ministry said 3,153 more patients have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 98,917.

Riyadh recorded the highest number of infections with 740 new cases followed by Jeddah, Mecca and Hofuf reporting 421, 354, 285 infections, respectively.
