COVID-19: Saudi Arabia reports 1,931 new cases, 12 deaths
Saudi Arabia reported 1,931 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 76,726, the Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday (May 26).
Meanwhile, the ministry reported 2,782 recoveries today, with total recoveries in the kingdom at 48,450. There are 397 cases in intensive care.
The ministry also confirmed 12 deaths, bringing the total number of deaths in the kingdom to 411.
Spokesperson for Saudi health ministry said on Tuesday "The pandemic continues and the virus is there, but situation has become better in terms of knowing how to control and prevent the spread of the virus."
Adding "The capacity to contain the virus in in the health sector is exellent, with early access to cases and proactive measures, in addition to diagnostic capabilities, especially rapid testing."
