COVID-19: Saudi Arabia reports 1,815 new cases, 14 deaths

Saudi Arabia reported 1,815 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 78,541, the Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday (May 27).

Meanwhile, the ministry reported 2,572 recoveries today, with total recoveries in the kingdom at 51,022. There are 397 cases in intensive care.

The ministry also confirmed 14 deaths, bringing the total number of deaths in the kingdom to 425.

Saudi Arabia has announced that public sector employees can resume work gradually starting Sunday, May 31.

Under the new measures, domestic flights will resume while mosques, restaurants and cafes will reopen.
