Jubbat Hail, in the Hail region of northeast Saudi Arabia, is on an old caravan route through the Nefud Desert.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015, recent government investment has improved the facilities available to the public there.
It is one of the largest and most significant archaeological sites in Saudi Arabia, due to its rock inscriptions and carvings dating to the Mesolithic period.It is a beautiful desert destination visited by thousands of tourists from around the world every year.
