In line with the growing emphasis on sports medicine in the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Herve Ouanezar, MD has joined the team at Dubai-based nanoM, a state-of-the-art performance and health assessment facility catering to professional athletes.
nanoM’s newest Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. Ouanezar graduated at the top of his class from Claude Bernard University Medical School in Lyon, France. After his residency, he completed three world-renowned fellowships at FIFA Centres in Sports Medicine and Knee Surgery. His specialised clinical interests include anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, complex multi-ligament knee injuries, knee meniscus tears and transplantation, patellofemoral instability and pain, and cartilage restoration procedures. He has published more than twenty peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts and book chapters, and given many professional presentations and lectures.
