On behalf of His Excellency Engineer Saleh bin Ibrahim Al Rasheed, Governor of the Small & Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monshaat”, Engineer Abdullah Al Ghaliqa, Head of Startup Culture Department at the Authority, attends the opening of Zmakan Shop for Arabic creative gifts in Red Sea Mall in Jeddah @zmakan.online .
Zmakan Gift Shop is the success story of its owner Rania Mustfa Ghamrawi, who started creating her pieces at home under the framework of Productive Families Program. Later on, Rania managed to get a loan from Torathuna Social Responsibility Company with the support of the National Commercial Bank.
The owner explained that her shop highlights the highly motivated national success stories, embodies the success of Saudi Vision 2030, launched by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince of KSA, to enable the society to touch these successes, and reflects the efforts the Small & Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monshaat” is making to realize this vision.
Ghamrawi also clarified that Zmakan is considered one of the leading commercial shops in the Kingdom, as it contains 4000 home-grown special designs for artistic creative products for all occasions and age groups. The bags, plates, cups, incense burners, bag belts, T-shirts, and artistic furniture pieces are all inspired from the local culture, she added.
Rania Ghamrawi registered its brand under the name “Zmakan”, and out of her sense of social responsibility, she has dedicated spaces within the store for junior entrepreneurs and those who have local brands / products and do not have their own stores to display and sell their products in-store to help accelerate their business growth, in the context of integration and alliance.
Rania is providing training courses for productive and talented families in the field of artworks, in cooperation with "Ahalina" Social Responsibility Program of the National Commercial Bank and the Sleysla Center for productive families of the Al-Faisaliah Association.
Rania Ghamrawi holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and has a talent in drawing and artwork. She also holds a diploma in graphic design and fashion and has unusual promotion channels for a business pioneer who started from home and uses these accounts to promote her products and her shop.
In 2018, she managed to form alliances with several entities to distribute her products in a number of prestigious marketing outlets such as King Abdul Aziz Airport in Jeddah through NCB's Ahalina store and Virgin Stores at King Khalid Airport in Riyadh and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.
And within the framework of the "Baree", the Saudi Crafts Program, which she is a member of, Rania inspires and manufactures her products from the local culture of the Kingdom. And she also makes a variety of products under the name of King Faisal Specialist Hospital gift shop in Riyadh.
