Fakih IVF to Host a Symposium to Highlight Latest Advances in Reproductive Medicine

In keeping with HH Sheikh Mohammed’s vision of making Dubai a center of medical excellence, Fakih IVF will host a high-quality annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) symposium from 22nd to 23rd March at Jumeirah Beach Hotel Dubai.

The symposium will host over 1200 medical experts and shed light on the latest advances in reproductive medicine. Accredited by Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the symposium will offer 14.75 CME hours and discuss new techniques and treatment modalities in reproductive medicine. It will also identify current clinical challenges in reproductive medicine and in-vitro fertilization (IVF), as well as evaluate methods to individualize treatment to provide to better care for patients.

 

“We are excited to host the CME symposium, which will serve as a strategic platform for experts to learn and share best practices. As a responsible organisation, Fakih IVF has been committed to institutionalize infertility treatment in the country, and hosting this knowledge forum is in line with our efforts to enhance the existing treatments,” said Dr Michael Fakih, Medical Director of Fakih IVF Fertility Center.

While the CME conference will offer a unique experience for professionals as obstetricians, gynaecologists, urologists, infertility specialists, embryologists, lab personnel, nurses and trainees, it will also highlight the latest innovations in the field of infertility. In addition, the symposium will be spearheaded by a distinguished panel of 34 speakers from USA, United Kingdom, Belgium, Italy, Denmark, Spain, UAE and India. 

“Fertility treatments have evolved massively in the past few years. Advances in medical science has made treatments not only effective, but also safe. Fakih IVF has always been a forerunner in embracing new technologies and innovations which contribute to the growth of fertility solutions, and we are confident that this forum will be a step towards realising new changes,” added Dr Michael Fakih.

Aimed to raise awareness on fertility advancements, some of the key topics of discussion at the symposium will include - Techniques and Results of Ovarian Tissue Transplantation, Ovarian Stimulation Strategies for the Cancer Patient and Strategies for IVF in the Medically Complicated Patient. The forum will also highlight - Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding & Irregular Cycles, Conservative Management of Fibroids, Severe Male Infertility: Opportunities For Better Treatment, Social Egg Freezing, Microbiome in Pregnancy: Placenta and Bladder, Obesity in Pregnancy, Advances in Genomics Testing of Embryos and Latest Evidence on Outcomes, PGTai and several other insightful discussions.
