According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Development website and their customer care service, Issuance of FINAL EXIT on Expired Iqama is now possible.
How to Apply for Final Exit on Expired Iqama
If your Iqama is expired more than 30 days and you wish to go back on final exit, you will have two choices.
Option No.01 – Request to the Employer to issue Final Exit on Expired Iqama
In this case, the Employer can Issue a special work permit for your additional staying period with a fee (Fee for additional staying period from Iqama expiry). Once the said work permit issued and paid, then the employer can issue a final exit from Absher or by visit Jawazat with no fee.
Option No. 02 – Submit a Complaint to Ministry of Labor
This is a simple procedure, make a request letter for Final Exit on Expired Iqama and submit to nearest Ministry of Labor Office along with Iqama and Passport copy. Soon Ministry of labour will call your sponsor in this regard and instruct him to issue Final exit and settle the unpaid salaries and other benefits. If he didn’t attend, the Ministry of labour will give him two more chances to solve the issue. It may take up to a maximum of 6 months. If he didn’t attend all three chances, the Ministry of labour will arrange Final Exit for you.
