Jubail is a city that lies near the famous Red Sea. It is adjacent to the city of Yanbu. The Jubail is an economically important city as it is one of the industrial cities of the Kingdom. The beautiful city of the Arabian Gulf has its own Royal Commission.

The commission was set by the government to pursue development. The royal commission helps attain development in the industrial cities, Jubail and Yanbu. Jubail hosts the world’s biggest complex of Petrochemical.

The city was once known for its pearls, as it lies near the sea, the sea water would deposit pearls at the shore. The industrial hub of the country, Jubail, is a house of 19 vital factories. Steel, fertilizers, and aluminum are produced in significant amount by these factories of Jubail.

There are also ancillary units in Jubail. These are 136 in number.  The industrial zone of Jubail falls under the jurisdiction of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC).

As said earlier, the industrial city is not only economically vital but also has scenic importance. It is a beautiful city that holds both wealth and picturesque. There are lots of places here that are worth visiting: These places include parks, zoos, museums and much more.

Families can enjoy vacations here: the visitors are advised to visit Jubail in months starting from November to June. The city near the sea provides a pleasant weather during these months.  Here is the list of places you must visit:

1. Al Batwah Island: The fascinating island lies near Jubail. It is a place full of fun as it is equipped with zoos and parks.

2. Picnic Zone: It is not an ordinary picnic zone; it is the most amazing one! It has fun places like playgrounds and an arena. The area also caters for water activities and sports. T is a large arena which stretches over an area of 204 km. the Picnic zone is situated at the west of industrial zone.

3. Museums: There are two museums there namely SABIC museum and the Royal Commission. Both are interesting to visit!

4. Nakheel Beach: If you are living in Jubail, how can you miss the opportunity to visit Nakheel Beach every now and then. This is a sandy beach approximately 6 km away from Fanateer mall.

I have visited this place over the weekend and seen many local people enjoying leisure time with family and children. Parking is nearby, allowing people to carry their tents and foods. Swimming is also allowed here.

Walking on the Shore: Nothing is more relaxing than walking on the shore. The city which is an important industrial hub for the country caters its visitors with an opportunity to walk along the shore.

A safe and beautiful track made of tiles is set for the very purpose. You will see people walking and jogging on the track and refreshing themselves up.

There are world class restaurants near the shore which are easy to access. The restaurants and hotels provide very fine food. You must try the seafood at Jubail.

Surfing and Diving: near the sea and not experiencing water sports? Not a chance. Surfing and diving are must to do activities at the Jubail. However, we advise you to be careful and enjoy!

Boating: you can now book a boat and sail in the sea. A pleasant weather contrasted with a sea adventure is what one can wish for!
